Welcome to our web site, which introduces Global Emergency Management (GEM): a company which has been established to provide consultancy, advice and training in all areas of emergency management.

Activities range from helping organisations to identify risk and create business continuity and contingency plans to deal with the emergencies that could arise, to identifying roles and required skills, designing and delivering training, and devising and running exercises.

The growing threat of natural and man-made disasters, together with the implications of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, place greater responsibilities on us all to be prepared.

That is why I have established GEM to share the knowledge and skills of our emergency planning professionals with the many private businesses, voluntary and public sector organisations, including front line responders, who have an urgent need to not only be up to speed with the implications of the latest legislation and guidance, but also to ensure they are prepared to deal with emergencies effectively.

I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you in the near future.
