Course Title Emergency Plan Testing and Review
Module 4 Duration 2 days Course Aim This course is designed to: 1. This module will build on the students’ knowledge and understanding of plan construction 2. Develop individual skills in training teams to participating in emergency planning exercises. 3. Evaluate the effectiveness of testing and reviewing each stage of the planning process. 4. To support personal and professional development. Learning Outcomes By the end of the course delegates will be able to: 1. Identify and summarise the training needs of staff involved in the implementation of an organisations emergency plan. 2 Develop effective training sessions and evaluate the appropriateness of delivery modes. 3 Design exercises which can be used to test emergency plans 4 Evaluate and summarise the methods used to test and review emergency plans following exercises, near misses and actual emergencies. 5 Reflect on key personal development points from the course.
